If you have actually been dabbling the concept of cutting your hair much shorter this summer and are looking for a sign to leap in the deep end and do it, just aim to Zoe Saldaña as your beauty guide. On Tuesday, Saldaña debuted what we’re calling the It haircut of the summertime: the French bob.
Celebrity hair stylist and founder of Roz Haircare Mara Roszak took to her Instagram to flaunt Saldaña’s new do. With rounded edges and very little layers with blunt lines that hit just at the star’s shoulders, the French bob is effortlessly chic and voluminous, considering that je ne sais quoi for your summertime hair appearance. While the Avatar star looks wonderful no matter her hair length, this short cut is high up on our list of preferred appearances of perpetuity.
“Someone got a MAJOR summer Frenchie Bob slice,” Roszak captioned the video, which revealed the stylist chopping 10 inches of the actor’s hair. She was inspired to give the actor, who has been filming in France for the last four months, the flexible and essential cut that embodies the French lifestyle.
Saldaña is simply one of much of our favorite celebrities that have said goodbye to their long strands since late, and is using this season’s hottest haircut: the bob. And for excellent factor: The bob is generally flattering on all hair types, and is simple to preserve. (Plus, it will help keep you feel cool in the hot damp weather condition).
